Session 1: Introduction to Q2

Purpose of the Class

The purpose of this introductory class is to set the stage for Quarter 2 by helping students understand that discipleship is just as much about how we live as it is about what we believe. This class emphasizes that following Jesus should be evident in our relationships, attitudes, and actions.

By introducing the biblical picture of “putting off” old ways and “putting on” Christlike character, this session helps students see discipleship as something expressed through their actions. The goal is to prepare their hearts and minds for the weeks ahead, where they will learn how to clothe themselves with the virtues of Christ and demonstrate His character to the world around them.
