Session 7: Show

Purpose of the Class

This class begins a shift from inward growth to outward expression, helping students understand that true discipleship is seen not only in what we know, but also in how we live. Following Jesus should be evident in the way we relate to others, respond to circumstances, and carry ourselves each day.

Through the biblical picture of “putting off” our old ways and “putting on” Christlike character, students will begin to see that discipleship is lived out through our attitudes, choices, relationships, and actions. The goal of this session is to prepare their hearts and minds for the weeks ahead as they learn what it looks like to put on the character of Christ and reflect Him to the world around them.

As you lead this class, focus on setting a positive and inspiring tone. Your goal is to excite students about the journey ahead, helping them see the purpose and relevance of aligning our character with Christ’s.
